  • Two or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing foreign and domestic vehicles
  • Fully certified A tech with full ASE and Subaru Certification receives priority consideration
  • ASE Certified, or have the ability to receive that certification within 6 months
  • Experience with Subaru is a plus, and compensated accordingly

BDC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / CALL CENTER SPECIALIST     Posted January 15, 2018

Patriot Subaru of North Attleboro is looking to hire another Business Development Specialist to work in our growing BDC/Call Center department. In a nutshell, you handle in-bound calls from customers seeking information on vehicles for sale, probably from something they have seen on our website. Your job is to provide information, and set up an appointment for them to come in to the store. This is not a cold-calling position.

We seek a FULL timer, but can also hire as a PART time. Ideally we need a person with experience in the car business, with a sales background. If you have experience in a field that relates, let's be sure to talk. We're not just looking for a person, we're looking for the right person. Experience in high volume phone and email sales is important. To do this effectively you will need to:

  • Be trained and execute our systems faithfully and with enthusiasm
  • Have enhanced knowledge about the Subaru vehicle lineup that will be provide through our continued training
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of our current inventory, warranties, sales programs, promotional events, website, personnel, and the dealership in general
  • Engage customers with a friendly and outgoing personality via phone, while using a defined set of telephone talk templates
  • Have writing skills that can effectively respond to email requests, in addition to utilizing prepared email templates
  • Ask for and set appointments with customers, and meet pre-set performance goals
  • Provide BDC Manager with daily report on calls, appointments set, and decisions and outcomes of all prospects
  • Follow up with prospects to increase response and reduce amount of no-shows
  • Check-in with customers who have purchased vehicles to make sure they have no issues or concerns
  • Maintain detailed record of all activity in CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) system
  • Attend training courses as directed by management. Course fees may be covered by dealership if determined to have direct impact on job enhancement

To be considered, we are looking for the following experience and qualifications:

  • One year plus of high volume, phone or email based sales experience
  • We prefer a background in the automobile business
  • Ability to role-play in an interview setting demonstrating phone-based selling skills along with customer relationship building
  • Focus and attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage your time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with correct spelling and grammar with a professional presentation
  • Knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to email, web applications, and MS Office products such as Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
  • Capacity to meet or surpass revenue and other performance targets set by management

This job has an hourly wage plus bonus, with the additional income opportunity through the sale of a vehicle, either in part or whole. We provide a full benefits package to full time associates, including full medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid holiday vacations. There is flexibility in the days and times you work, accumulating 40-45 work hours per week. We will provide ongoing training to develop your abilities and skills.
