Protection Plans That Make Sense
The nice thing is that each plan covers a different topic, so you can choose one or several programs to suit your needs. Our Finance and Insurance (F&I) specialists are here to walk through the plans with you, and assemble a program to your specifications. We offer four specific vehicle protection plans, which include:
Guaranteed
Asset
Protection (GAP): If your vehicle is declared a total loss due to
accident, GAP coverage alleviates the financial burden by
waiving all or
part of the remaining loan balance. Since other parties may have a financial stake in the matter, GAP addresses everyone involved in the loan process.
- Decreasing or eliminating additional your out-of-pocket expenses
- Protecting your credit history
- Relieving the losses of the lender from an unpaid balance
You can purchase GAP coverage at the time of purchase, so be sure to ask about it when you're going through the loan process. The same coverage is provided if your vehicle is stolen. Notice we did not say "lost or stolen" - if you plain lost it....well...that's a hard one to cover!
Vehicle Service
Contracts (VSC): WIth a Vehicle Service Contract, you will add
protection against unexpected mechanical or electrical failure. The
WiseTVP plan consists of benefits
including towing, car rental, trip interruption, emergency roadside
assistance
and tire road hazard coverage.
Appearance Care Service Contracts (ACS): Keep that new car look by applying an Appearance Care plan such as WiseCare. This offers protection to both interior and exterior surfaces from unsightly dents, dings, and tears. Coverage may include paintless dent repair, windshield repair, wheel repair and interior or exterior surface repair. The plan may also include 24/7 roadside assistance with key replacement. It is not just for brand new cars either - WiseCARE offers an ACS plans that can manage costs for cosmetic repairs to any vehicle, whether new or pre-driven - regardless of its mileage and pre-driven vehicles up to 8 years of age.
