The all-new Subaru BRZ is totally redesigned
for the new year, complete with a restyled interior that expertly blends
comfort and fun. The cockpit is more driver-focused and puts all the controls
and display information you need right at your line of sight. An updated engine
is at the heart of this coupe, with increased performance and horsepower.
Exterior and Colors
The BRZ stands out from the crowd with its
sleek design. This coupe has an aerodynamic profile, complete with side air
vents, a rear lip spoiler, and body-colored side mirrors. Each trim features
LED headlights as well as aluminum alloy wheels and summer performance tires,
giving you the best grip on the racetrack.
The new Subaru BRZ comes available in seven
different colors: WR Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Silica, Magnetite Gray Metallic,
Ignition Red, Ice Silver Metallic, Sapphire Blue, and Crystal White Pearl.
Interior
The redesigned interior of the Subaru BRZ
offers plenty of comfort for you and your copilot, with a driver-centric cabin
to help you as you drive through Taunton, MA. For added style, the shifter and
steering-wheel are leather-wrapped with red stitching accents. Cloth interior
seating comes standard, while Ultrasuede® leather upholstery wth red leather
bolsters come available. Each trim features a fold-down rear seatback, allowing
you to quickly expand the cargo area when needed.
Performance
One of the things people enjoy the most about
Subaru rally cars like the BRZ are the performances each one packs under the
hood. The BRZ's engine has also gotten redesigned for increased horsepower and
torque. This coupe runs on a 2.4-liter Subaru BOXER engine, generating
228-horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The engine comes paired with a
full-synchronized six-speed manual transmission with Incline Start Assist. If
manual transmission is unfamiliar to you, a six-speed automatic transmission is
available.
The BRZ also comes standard with a sport-tuned
suspension and a TORSEN limited-slip rear differential for optimal handling and
grip as you cruise the streets in Warwick, RI. This coupe is the only Subaru
model to come standard with rear-wheel-drive for a precise acceleration.
Safety and Technology
Each trim of the new BRZ comes loaded with lots
of standard and available features to keep you safe and entertained as you take
on the streets in Norwood, MA. Keeping this coupe planted on the road is the
Vehicle Stability Control feature with Track Mode to make race performance
safer and more manageable. The four-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System features
Brake Assist for optimal grip and stopping power. Both BRZ trims come available
with EyeSight driver-assist features such as Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control
with Lane Centering, Pre-Collision Braking, and Lane Departure and Sway
Warning.
Keeping you comfortable on the inside of the
BRZ is automatic climate control, with dual front controls for you and your
copilot. The STARLINK™ multimedia system features a standard eight-inch
touchscreen and is compatible with apps like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and
other STARLINK cloud-based applications.
