Where the Subaru Forester continues to one up rivals such as the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and Ford Escape in the competitive compact SUV segment is with its standard all-wheel drive, a trait that helps the Forester remain sure-footed no matter the terrain or weather." -- Kelley Blue Book
Exciting!
Excellent fuel economy, near the top of its class.
The 2.5 with CVT transmission earns an EPA estimated 24mpg city/32mpg highway.  The manual version is only slightly lower, with 22/29 respectively.
What is new on the 2015 Forester?
The 2.5i base Forester adds a rearview camera as standard equipment. On the Limited model, you can opt for the high end Harmon Kardon audio system. The Touring trim adds high-luster, 18 inch alloy wheels, however the navigation system is removed from the standard equipment list.
The premium models with the manual transmission have added a power moonroof. With the premium trim added, it now includes Subaru's EyeSight driver-assist system with adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance.
